About Adebisi Adefunmi


Fashion Stylist, Green Earth Advocate, Investor & Entrepreneur. With Film/TV, High-End Designer House experience and over 32 Musicals, 24+ Ballets & 16+ Operas under her belt, she's been a force in South Florida's Fashion & Entertainment Industry since 2010.
Adebisi Adefunmi is a Yoruba-American Fashion Stylist, Star Dresser & Influencer. Her experience began with assisting as a Runway Volunteer. She aided to High-End fashion Houses & Designers, assisting in the wardrobe department for runway shows and styling for several major Department Stores. As a Freelancer, she was being hired to personal shop & style for many of South Florida's local Photographers, Fashion Designers, Indie filmmakers, Artists, Musicians, Actors, Actresses & Concerts. Later joining the IATSE Union while still a student at AI's MIU of Art & Design. The IATSE Union is where she'd gain her experience dressing for Films, TV and Theatrical performances and build-up her massive resume. Her career in theater picked up steam in 2016 and she was being requested to work with many of the world's most famous Broadway Musicals, Ballets & Operas.
From there, she found herself working as a Fashion & Beauty Influencer, in addition to her wardrobe career and being requested to work for Gloria Estefan & Roberto Cavalli's Celebrity Charity Fashion Show. There she would meet many High-Profile entertainers including Roberto Cavalli himself, Gloria & Emilio Estefan, Debora Cox, Real House Wives of Orange County and several Athletes.
Adebisi is known for her GREEN Advocacy, joining neighborhood tree-plantings, supporting climate-improving petitions, attending protests and volunteering for Environmental Organizations such as Citizens Climate Lobby. She supports the US National Forest Restoration initiative and supported & donated to several Non-profit Organizations such as the NRDC, Florida State Parks Foundation, UNICEF, Greenpeace & Heifer International. She currently spends time teaching proper recycle habits to peers & young adults in her community and uses her social platforms to encourage Eco-Friendly Living. Moving forward, she aspires to become a successful Business Mogul & Philanthropist and to be an ambassador for Climate-Change Prevention & African Culture.
Adebisi's fashion resume includes legendary High-End fashion houses such as Versace, Roberto Cavalli, Carolina Herrera & Lanvin, in which she assisted as an aide to the designer and dressed the Runway Show models. Major Department stores include: Bloomingdales, Macy's and Nordstrom. Film, TV & Entertainment production companies she's worked with include: Disney, Sony Pictures, Sony Studios, Universal Pictures & Studios, Netflix and Live Nation. Broadway Musical Productions include: Hamilton, Wicked, Fidler On The Roof, The Lion King, The Book of Mormon, Les Mis, The Color Purple and MOTOWN (to name a few). A few Ballet productions include: Miami City Ballet's Don Quixote, I'm Old Fashion & the 'Reimagined' George Balanchine's Nutcracker, redesigned by Isabel & Ruben Toledo. Adebisi hand-altered costumes and was able to get-to-know the Toledos, ultimately being invited to visit them at their home, in Manhattan. Opera productions include: The Florida Grand Opera's Madam Butterfly, La Boehme, Don Giovanni & Before Night Falls (to name a few).
Adebisi was born and raised in Oyotunji Kingdom, in Seabrook, SC, USA. She is the daughter of the late King Oba Oseijeman Efuntola Adelabu Adefunmi I.
